HOW DO I REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT
To register for an account you can either click on the black 'Register' tab at the top of the page or on the 'Register for an Account' in green also near the top of the page.
Then simply fill in the details (Remember boxes marked with an asterix must be filled in) and then click the 'Sign Up' button at the bottom of the page.
You will then be sent a confirmation e-mail. The account must be activated via this e-mail for security reasons. By clicking 'Here' within the email your account will be activated and you will be taken back to the 'Log In' page where you can log in and start trading.
Remember you can stay logged onto the Agrimarque site if you wish by clicking the 'Remember Me' box. This option should only be used on a secure network and not from a public computer.
HOW DO I REGISTER AS A COMPANY/BUSINESS USER
First you must register for an account following the normal registration process. (If in doubt go to FAQs)
Once your account has been activated and you have logged in, go to 'My Account' and in 'Account Information' click on 'Up Grade'. On the 'Up Grade' page click on the box beside 'Yes I Would Like To Up Grade My Account' and then click on 'Up Grade Me'. Once you have up graded go back to 'My Account' and click on 'Edit' in 'Account Information' and you can simply fill in your company or business details.
You can put your details in up to five catergories, which will put your business and website details right where you want them to be.
I HAVE REGISTERED FOR AN ACCOUNT BUT HAVE NOT YET RECIEVED MY CONFIRMATION E-MAIL
It may well be that you need to give the e-mail a little longer to arrive, at peak times e-mails are sometimes slower to move through the system than at others.
It may also be worth checking your 'SPAM' mail. E-mails from larger websites are often directed into your 'SPAM' intray.
HOW DO I PLACE AN ADVERTISEMENT
To place an advertisement you must first register for an account. Once you have an account, log in to your account, left click on 'Place Ad' then choose a catergory and sub-catergory and fill in the details.
HOW MUCH WILL MY ADVERTISEMENT COST
Absolutely nothing. You can advertise as many items as you like completely free of charge.
Business users can sign up to the Agrimarque Business Register, completely free of charge and give potential customers direct access to your website and other chosen information. The unique features on the Agrimarque site also allow users to advertise multiple items quickly and easily.
HOW CAN I EDIT OR AMEND MY ADVERTISEMENT
To edit view or end an advertisement early, go to 'My Account' then 'My Adverts' and follow the links on the individual advertisement you wish to amend.
HOW DO I PLACE AN ITEM IN 'LOST AND STOLEN'
To place an item in the 'Lost and Stolen' register you must first register for an account.Once your account is set up, go to 'My Account'and left click on the 'Lost and Stolen' tab on the green bar then left click 'Add New' on the lost and stolen administration bar and fill in your details.
HOW DO I ADVERTISE AN UPCOMING EVENT
To put an event into the 'Upcoming Events' section, please go to the 'Contact Us' tab on the homepage and fill in the details and then send it to us.
This is designed for small or individual one-off events, if you are an organisation hosting regular or national events or shows it may be worth filling in the 'Contact Us'details with your website address and if suitable we can put you on our 'Useful Links' page.
HOW DO I PLACE AN ADVERTISEMENT WITH PHOTOGRAPHS
When placing an advertisement with photographs, remember the more photographs and the greater the MBs per image, the longer the advertisement will take to upload. An advertisement with six large MB images could take up to ten minutes to upload.If you are in a hurry, you may find it quicker to attach fewer images at first and then attach more photographs using the 'Edit' section in 'My Adverts' at a later stage.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY REGISTRATION DETAILS, INCLUDING PASSWORD
Simply go to 'My Account' and left click on edit in either 'Account Information' or 'Account Settings', and the registration or settings details will appear and you can amend as required. When the details have been amended press 'Update' to confirm the changes.
HOW CAN I GAUGE RESPONSES TO MY ADVERTISEMENTS
Go to 'My Account' then 'My Adverts'and you will find a list of all your advertisements, past and present and under' Views and 'Impressions' you can get an idea how often your advertisements have been seen.
I HAVE REGISTERED FOR AN ACCOUNT BUT CANNOT LOG IN
It may well be that you have used a symbol or a space in your user name or password. If you have re-register without using symbols e.g.'£ % & @' or spaces.HOW CAN I PROTECT MYSELF FROM ONLINE FRAUD
The old adage 'If something appears to be too good to be true it probably is' applies here. If an item is advertised at a very low price with only an e-mail address for contact, beware.
If a seller insists on contact only by e-mail and will not give a landline telephone number or a valid address, beware.
Never part with any money or personal details until you have seen the item in question and are satisfied that the seller and the item are valid.
